I have been running my Raptor since the beginning of Feb. Now, for some reason after instaling Crysis the other day, about 2 min in the computer blue screened and restarted. When I went to boot back up, Windows told me it had become corrupted due to HD failure.
Tried to repair Vista using the repair function on the CD but no use so I restored the OS. Booted fine but the raptop seemed to be louder and grindier then usual. I ran a WD Diagnosic scan and it got about three quators of the way through before getting stuck at sector 229445887. It got stuck there and grinded and clicked away over night until I woke up 10hrs later and it was still stuck.
I ran the scan again and it got stuck at exactly the same sector. I ran the tool on my 500gb AAKS to make sure this wasn't a vista 64 problem and it completed the extended scan correctly without issues. I restored the OS again and tried another scan and it still gets stuck at the exact same place.
Think the Raptor needs a RMA?
