Do i just keep the reciept from OcUK for the 5 year warranty? is that all i need, cos i just know i'll lose it!! does it start from the date on the reciept? long time is 5 years!!
Its a manufacturers warranty so you dont need to keep the receipt.. when (if) the drive dies, go to the WD website. There will be a support/returns page. You stick in the serial number from the drive and they give you an RMA number, you post off the drive and get a replacement back
Was your RMA status updated as WD having received the drive? My dead raptor was delivered to them last week (via DHL) and the status page still hasn't been updated.
ok thanks - i was starting to get slightly concerned given the drive was delivered nearly a week ago and it's still showing as not being delivered to them.
