Raptor dead, rma time ?

So my raptors dead, read error 07 or something the wd tool says.
Does anyone know how long WD take to rma stuff ?

I hear their RMA procedure is pretty good. Best of all you will most likely receive a VelociRaptor in return!

VelociRaptor is about 30% faster than the Raptor. It's also much less noisy and I'd even go as far as saying it's a quiet drive. Don't know if you would find that good or bad. I kind of liked the growl the Raptors made

You might need the proof of purchase for the Raptor according to their warranty support site. I guess you've already registered the drive? Failed hardware is never good of course but in this case I think you got lucky with it failing just before the 5 year warranty expired.
