I currently have 3 x SATA drives in my machine totaling 1.32 TB and I was thinking of investing in a 36 GB Raptor for my Windows and Programs installation. Will this be a significant performance boost to the system, or should I just save the money and stick with what I have at the moment?

I recently added a 150g Raptor to my 500g SATA Hitatchi & used it for boot. I noticed a considerable decrease in boot time yet wonder how much of that is due to a rebuild.

It's also a lot quieter than I expected, much quieter....

Will 36gb be enough for Windows and your program files ??

Regards

Yeah, 36GB will be fine, because I currently use 40GB for all that, and it includes all my documents etc... so I should have approximately 10GB after everything is installed :)
