Raptor RAID VS Single Raptor

I'm considering getting myself a pair of the 74GB raptors and putting them in RAID 0 as my bootable drive. However, is it actually worth going RAID over a single raptor? In which case I'd get the 150GB version. Are the performance differences noticeable enough to justify the extra price? All help much appreciated

Take a look at the two links I posted in this thread. They contain a number of HDTach traces which show you the differing transfer rates from various drives and RAID setups.

hmmmm, looks like itll be quite abit quicker in RAID 0. Think I'll go for the two 74GB raptors then. Thanks for the useful links.
