raptor second drive just for games?

hey all
i am running out of room in my 250gb drive and things are getting a bit choppy. so can i get a second drive, mainly a raptor and just reinstall my games on there? i know the answer should be yes but will i see an increase in load times, using my games from another drive leaving the OS drive to deal with my other stuff?

better to put your OS and games on the raptor and leave your old HD for other data...

though, some of these new drives are almost just as fast as a raptor but you get much more space for your money..

hmmm, good point but i really cannot be bothered to do a fresh install. i suppose it would freshen things up a bit though.
