Raptor troubles

I just put two raptors in and set to RAID 0 no probs.

But when I try to install windows it asks for device drivers. There is not any on the WD site, so what do I do?!?!?!

Had no problems on my two 250g seagates in RAID 0 as I could get the drivers.

There should be some RAID drivers that came with your motherboard. Either on CD or floppy disk. If on CD, you may need to copy them to a floppy disk first.

The Drivers are for the Sata Controler not the HDD's, ie like Intel or Nvidia.

hmmm, so what I used for the seagate should work for the raptors then....?

Oh, I put my mobo CD in and it said nothings on there. But I got things on my USB stick that worked for the seagates, just not working for the raports now.

What make/model of Mobo, then we can go from there and get you some Raid Drivers.

I see a few revisions, and its a Intel chipset Mobo, you can grab drivers from the Vendors site or Intels site.

hmmm, tried everything off the Gigabyte site. Nothing works!!!

Giving up for tonight, its worked before, dunno why it wont again!!!

hmm, that didnt work, lol.

It regonises some drivers, and loads them, then says no drive is good enough to install on.

I dunno whats going on, lol

Grrrrrrrr, found something on the CD that I forced upon it, eventhough I had looked before, hehe. Installing now, only spent about 5 hours trying, LOL!!!!

These Raptors better be worth it!!!
