I have a Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB ST3320620A ATA-100 16MB Cache.
Is it really worth getting a Western Digital Raptor 74GB WD740ADFD 10,000RPM SATA 16MB Cache
I was going to run windows on the raptor and store useless information on the seagate.
Currently I have only got the Seagate, do you think I will notice an improvement in performance if I brought a Raptor and used that instead or the seagate for windows and games.

Thx

if you have the seagate then i think you would be burning money for a minimal increase in performance for certain tasks. I also think the seagate has been proven as being faster under some circumstances with it being cheaper and less noisey
