Raptors?? Raid??

Hi all.

Ive heard great things about these drives when paired up in raid0 and ive just managed to get 2 of them for a really good price, well so I think. The trouble is ive never set up raid before! Is it easy to do? Will these drives make a big difference to my load times?

Before you install Windows you have to create the RAID array..

To do this enter the RAID setup when the PC boots, create an array (You're looking for RAID 0), save the settings and reboot.

When you boot from the CD to load Windows it'll see the new array as one disk.

It's not difficult at all

You should see an nice increase in speed.

I have 2 X 500 F3's in mine.
