Rapture Offline (Bioshock Question)

As Bioshock needs that rubbish online activator for installation, I was wondering if it will play offline.

I'm headed home for Christmas (where I don't have a net connection) and I want to be able to wander the streets of Rapture when I get bored. Anyone know if it does work?

It will play offline. Aslong as you Activated it online firstly.

The box says "This game requires a Internet Connection for activation", so I would assume that to mean theres no alternative way to activate it.

Fantastic, now that they've added the option to disable the Vita Chambers i'm going to give it another bash. Cheers guys.
