Rar files not showing correctly????

Now not sure if this is a issue with windows or not but didnt know where else to put this post/thread

Basically after I DL a program the rar files show as white black pages style instead of the usual purple rar file look they should be, cant open with winzip or 7-zip. Now have dl the same files on my laptop and they display correctly are unrar with the same winzip or 7-zip program.

Also I have connected my laptop via router and directly via ethernet port and when I open the latop file page on my pc all the rar files show up as the same black white page look???

Just had a thought while posting this, But would amigo360 or nod32 have anything to do with this??

It sounds like they somehow lost their association with the default program. Right-click | Open with..., and make sure your program is selected and select "Always use...".

Well now fixed, Dont know why but on another forum somebody suggected i uninstall the program and try re-install and see if that woked, well like i say dont know why that would make a differnce, BUT It did????

But as always thankyou for tryin to help buddy

Now to see where i can fnd rent a thug to send them round to the ****** i bought my pc off 150mi away to get my parts he removed from pc before i picked it up and hasnt sent me receipts for parts as promised which as far as I know means my pc parts no long have gaurantees on them
