rare mondeo

I remember those Luminous Yellow ones, when they were being produced I used to pass hundreds that were in storage on the train down at Parkeston near Harwich.

It was like the glowing field in that simpsons episode where homer puts the Plutonium on the tomato plants.

all pointless ;) I like my rare cars to have numbered placks! :D

Mine doesn't have a numbered badge, but I'm not paying £50 for a cheap sticker that would look out of place on the ashtray cover :p.

Actually you are wrong - there are infact only 10 Mondeo RSi's. All are Citrine Yellow, and all were a dealer special edition done by Hendy Ford. They had 150bhp over the stock 136bhp.

The rest of the Citrine Yellow Mondeos are regular Si's.

The 4x4 Mondeo was rare becuase it was crap.

as much as your advice is great my friend, your bedside manner could use some work

:p

How about the salmon pink mk1 mondeos, surely there must be fewer of them than any other colour? I can't believe they actually offered it, must be a lot of crack in the water in dagenham to think people would actually want to buy a car that revolting.

That's cool about Hendy Ford. I didn't know they were Britain's first Ford Dealer or that they had a history of doing special cars! Glad the Chandler's Ford branch is less than a mile from my house!

pah, i see citrine mondeos all the time

are they just cheap rip offs?

now rare vectras? i had one of the supertouring ones outside my house once (not the v6 though :()

Highly unlikely that you see them all the time as only 211 were produced and now less than 30 left in the country

not true citrine yellow was also an option colour on the 1.8LX
my m8 had one back in the mid 90's and couldn't believe his luck (or missfortune) when he ran into it at a car show :p
suffice to say it looked much cleaner when he owned it

for Refference the Reg is M919 HSE
the interior was std and not the Si sport seats however it also came with the smarter Si alloys

It was a pointless thread seven years ago, today it's become so pointless it's actually sucking all the relevance out of the surrounding threads.
