Raspberry Pi + VPN - Fire Stick "Invalid_Geo_IP"

Hi all,

I have recently setup my rPi3 with an outbound VPN routing all traffic via the Private Internet Access VPN service. Since then, I am no longer able to watch Prime content on my Fire Stick. I am getting an error saying "Invalid_Geo_IP".

From consulting Google I can see that "they" have started blocking proxy/VPN connections from accessing Prime content. Has anyone managed to get around this? I am connected via the London PIA server.

Exclude the Fire Stick from using the VPN in the iptables in the config.

wanted to try and avoid this but its looks like it might be the only option.

Technically you could do it the other way. You could exclude the IP's for the Amazon CDN that they use for Prime.

But keeping that up to date might be a royal pain in the backside.
