Whats the best image size to use? or is there no gain after a certain amount?

I've got an idea but it would be a screen grab of a film (1080p) or would it be better resizing it smaller?

Don't think so.

Mine looks fine anyway. It just picks basic colours and uses various dot sizes to make up the image.
