Rate multiplayer games out of 10

Call of Duty 2 (2005)
10/10. Very beautiful stock maps which are designed in such a way that never got boring after 7 years of playing.

I suppose ill rate a few games I've played the most over recent years (the good scores) and some that I haven't played a lot of because I don't like them.

DoD: 10/10
DoD source: 8/10
CS: 10/10
CS source: 4/10
TF2: 10/10
COD in recent years (excluding WW2 as I haven't played it apart from the BETA): 1/10
BF2: 10/10
BF3: 9/10
BF4: 8/10
BF1: 2/10
BF Hardlline: -infinity/10

Many many more, I could be here all day as I would imagine most other PC gamers could :)

Agree with all apart from BF1, I really enjoy it and would give it 8/10. Like any FPS it does get repetitive after a while but then just jump in a tank or a plane for a different game play experience.

Quake 3: 6/10
DoD Source: 8/10
TF2: 10/10
Killing Floor: 7/10
Killing Floor 2: 6/10
Left 4 Dead 2: 10/10
Soldier of Fortune 2: 7/10

MOHAA: 10/10
RTCW: 9/10
JK2: 9/10
JKA: 8/10
BC2: 9/10
BF3: 7/10
BF4: 8/10

Pretty much rating games I played for a while, this is what I can remember.

RTCW: Enemy territory - 10/10 (original, not played the downloadable version which I just found out about when I Googled to check the name - downloading tonight, hope people are playing!)
Call of Duty II - 10/10
Call of Duty: United Offensive - 9/10 (surpised they have not remade or updated this, surely it would sell well)
DOD: Source - 9/10

Very fond memories of all the above but possibly due to rose tinted specs.

R6: Siege - 9/10 - would be 10/10 except for angry children. Maybe unfair to blame the game though.

Red Orchestra 2 - 10/10

BF2 - 10/10
BF3 - 9/10
BF4 - 9/10
BF1 - 8/10

For some reason I bought Cod WWII - 4/10 at the moment but not played much of it. Some potential there but guess I'm not a fan of twitch shooters in my old age, so...

Titanfall 2 - 8/10 - mostly because I can't keep up with the action. Wish I could at least compete as it is really a 10/10 if you consider the amount of content, unique gameplay and dedication that the devs have put into it. And MECHS.

OpenTTD - 10/10
StarCraft 2 - 7/10
AoE2HD - 9/10
Heroes of the Storm - 9/10

-

Unreal tournament - 9/10
Quake 3a - 8/10
CoD 1/2 - 7/10
CoD4 MW - 8-10
CS: S - 9/10
CS: GO - 6/10
BF 3 - 7/10
BF4 - 6/10
BF1 - 7/10

Missed out loads of games but they are some of the bigger ones.

Pubg 5/10. A distinctly average unfinished mess that offers some short lasted fun whilst being hugely over rated. Think clunky fps, think pubg :D

EverQuest 10/10.
Vanguard: Saga of Heroes 7/10. If it weren't for the fact that it was a buggy mess at launch it could have been great.

Delta Force 2 - 10/10

At the time this was the dogs nuts. Compensating for wind direction and bullet drop blew my little mind.

Black Hawk Down - 9/10

Progressed to this an it was quality.

Delta Force: Joint Operations - 11/10

If you played it you'll know why.

CS Source - 10/10

Mainly for the 40 man community servers where ridiculous plays could be done. It's the only game where I've strived for perfect runs and by that I mean, I make a plan and I won't stop until it works. When you pull it off that 1 ot of 25 times the results were glorious. I'll always remember playing Aztec as a T and creating a one man strategy for the pistol round. I basically rushed water as a terrorist and threw a jump flash at the floor to temporarily blind anyone looking followed by an upward flash to buy me literally half a second where I then hid in the corner. Our team got decimated. I'm not seen and type "Knife in spawn", to which I'm not actually there mhahaha. I manage to plant to bomb and hold off a team of 14 players with a glock to win us the round. I think we then proceeded to lose every round after but that's not the point hahaha. I actually met some guys from Source, ended up playing football with one and still play games on a daily basis with one guy.

Team Fortress 2 - 9/10

Great fun and a good laugh.

Overwatch - 7/10

One of those games that feels great when you're winning but can quickly turn toxic.

These are probably the games that I've sunk the most time into over the course of 17'ish years online gaming.

UT99 - 10/10 (Proud to have played this for as long as I did during its heyday)
UT2K4 - 10/10
UT3 - 4/10 (So glossy. Shiny graphics overkill)
UT Alpha - 7/10 (I know it's alpha but the maps are too small. Always running out of ammo as well)
L4D1 - 9/10
L4D2 - 10/10 (When they merged L4D1 content with L4D2 is was perfect. I hated the new characters and maps in 2). Really miss this game.
BF2 - 10/10
BF3 - 6/10 (This is where the franchise took a turn for the worst and became COD with vehicles)
LoL - 8/10

Riot release too many champions and change the abilities of existing ones too much.

Cosmetic skins are also annoying as ****. People say it doesn't give you an edge, but it does, as I don't always recognise an enemy skill shot as the projectiles look completely different to what I'm used to seeing.

From their prime, would not rate all as highly today, some low infact but based on that;

Dark Age of Camelot 10/10
Jedi Knight II 10/10
Jedi Knight Academy 5/10
World of Warcraft 9/10
Dungeon Defenders 8.5/10
Heroes of Newerth 8/10
Path of Exile 10/10 (even today, though may not tick the same multiplayer box)
Rift 9.5/10 (like 4/10 now though)
Overwatch 7/10

Most of the others I can think of atm would be way lower, I just included JKA as I mentioned JK2. I'd also rate some of these above 10/10 (JK2, DAoC, PoE)

I have to agree, I'd give it 6/10 though, but people go nuts for it. It's horribly optimised, incredibly clunky and it's just a mess. However, the idea is what makes it. It's very clever and will hopefully start a new 'genre'.

Isn't it already a genre? I though the likes of Rust and H1Z1 were the same thing, or at least had game modes like it.

Rift 9.5/10 (like 4/10 now though)

For me Rift was 10/10. I loved how you could design your own builds and then swap between roles mid way through a dungeon. Start as the tank, finish as the healer.

Ultima Online - 10/10
Star Wars Galaxies - 9/10 (Loved the crafting system)
Dark Age of Camelot - 7/10
Shroud of the Avatar - 5/10 (I'd so hoped UO was remade... but it's just not that good)
Age of Conan - 9/10 (loved the PvP)
World of Warcraft - 6/10
Warhammer Online - 7/10 (Struggle to remember this one, despite it being in my top 10 played games)
