Complete unnecessary use of long exposure that does not do any good to the photo :{.

better than a raymond lin photo :p

although, i thing reading uni could use him for our buildings. its as thought they want to have every conceivable ugly style on one campus, and arrange them in such a way that they all clash hideously

Ziggurats: Listed building, recently was on the cover of one of The Streets Albums.

The main building. Don't even know what it's called.... It's so big that frankly you have to look at it from Google Maps.... I think until recently it was the longest building in Europe.

Ah UEA. I went there, best 3 years of my life

While I was there I also had some lectures in the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts which is on campus :)

Ahhh another plymouth grad. When did you graduate? They've got a lot more building work going on now, some sort of marine science block I believe. Was portland square there when you were there? Nothing like the spectacle that is RL building but still very nice plus smeaton has had a bit of a refit too. It's become a really nice university, always felt it was a very pleasant place to be, the maths department were pretty good as well.

found some more pictures of reading just to give you an idea of how rubbish it really looks.

all of these buildings i have had a good number of lectures in. basically we get bumped around the big lecture halls that no one else wants to use

i could go on :(

The Roland Levinsky building is indeed, a horrible building to navigate inside! Had some lectures there for a while after it just opened. Lovely to look at but it feels far too sterile and artificial inside. For that reason alone, I imagine older buildings are better. Many of my lectures were actually in that tall non-descript building behind RL, the Davy building.

Certainly looking forward to sampling a different environment when I finally get back to uni for a postgrad!
