Mass Effect: 8/10

Great storyline, graphics and gameplay, let down only by side-quests being a tad tedious.


Titan Quest: 6/10

Interesting at first, but it just went the same way as Diablo, which I got bored of just as quickly.


Devil May Cry 4: 8/10

I'm only so far into my first play of the game, but I am really enjoying it, just as much as I did DMC1 on the PS2

Team Fortress 2.

Lately I'm going through one of those fazes where I can't bring myself to get engrossed in a good single player game. So instead I've been playing TF2. When ever I play this game I go into a kill frenzy trance. My favorite class being the Pyro, I love the smell of burnt flesh in the morning. My wife says I'm a crazed lunatic when I play this pulling some very strange faces and saying very obscene words. No game has gotten my adrenalin pumping so much since I lost my Megathron in 0.0 space to a pirate in Eve-Online. Truly a sad day, the day I gave up eve after two years of play.

TF2 has some of the best graphics in a game for some time. Their not the best because they are picture perfect but because they have a style of their own. Which other companies will start to mimic (battlefield heroes anyone). I have to admit I never played the original, simply down to I wasn't into PC gaming when it was at its pinacle. Its the game I've dedicated the most time to over the last year.

Its my fallback game for when I get bored of my other 161 games or theres nothing good coming out.

Call of Duty 4

For me, it's like a cross between Day of Defeat and Counter Strike. Nothing revolutionary, but still a decent and enjoyable game in single player mode. Graphics aren't spectacular, but pretty good all the same.

Multiplayer is where this game excels, everyone loves achievements in online multiplayer games, and COD4 does it particularly well. Unlocking new weapons, abilities, and special items to help you defeat your enemies is fun and gives you something to aim for and look forward to.

I'd give it 7/10.
