Rate this contract offer / PAC code question

Hi all,

I'm on a rolling 1 month contract with o2 and I'm going to get a Samsung Galaxy S on a different network.

I've looked around for deals and thinking of getting this:

Is that offer any good?

Secondly, I need to migrate from o2. How swift is the process with getting a PAC code and moving over to a new provider? Will I be charged an extra months line rental on my existing contract before I can move over?

The PAC code took about 24 hours for o2 to send through.

Did you incurr any additional costs or is there a notice period you have to give them?

I don't know yet.

I just ported my number from o2 to Vodafone this week. I was told the account would be closed on porting and I'd receive a final bill. However as soon as my number ported my o2 online account says there's no contract now so I can't check bills or anything. I'll try and remember to post back when I find out.

The whole process was quick though. As I said 24hrs to get the PAC. I got the SIM from Vodafone on Tuesday and was told the number would port by 4pm Wednesday, it happened on time.
