Resistance FoM - 8
Havent really played much of the single player game but the online mode sold it for me, great game!

Motorstorm - 6
As otheres have mentioned just seams to be a glorified tech demo, still good fun though

Lemmings - 9
Its LEMMINGS!!!! in HD!!!!

Tekken DR - 8
was always a fan of the tekken series and this is a nice taste of whats to come.

Tony Hawk's Project 8 - 8
having played and completed all of the tony hawks games they did start to get a little repetative, but this brings a new life to the series with new features such as "Nail The Trick"

Armored Core 4 - 8
being a big fan of 1-3 (and all the expansions) i have been looking forward to this since it was announced and it didnt dissapoint, the only issue i have is my TV (old 32" CRT) doesnt support NTSC input so im playing it in B&W till i can afford my HD LCD in 2 months...

F1CE = 8/10
Motorstorm = 7/10
Fight Night 3 = 7/10
Blazing Angels = 7/10
Tiger Woods = 7/10
Need for Speed Carbon = 5/10
Virtua Tennis 3 = 7/10
Virtua Fighter 5 = 6/10

Mobile Suit Gundam: Target in Sight = 1/10

This is literally the worst game I have played on any system for a loooong time... took it straight back and swapped it.

Really enjoyed the story in SP, haven't really got into MP.

Motorstorm: 8/10

Online is where it's at, 6/10 for SP.

VF5: 6/10

Great gfx but lacking.


I have to say I have only recently started playing MP games on the PS3, but I have never experience such smooth gameplay over a network. Playing Motorstorm online is virtually no different to playing it in SP :D Same with Rfom...
 
RFOM 8/10

Well, I enjoyed it.

Motorstorm 9/10

Was good, then got boring, then got good again.

COD3 6/10

Meh, don't play it much but it was good when I did

THP8 9/10

Played it for 40 hours so far and still not bored of it

Oblivion 10/10

Had it on PC, got it yesterday
 
R:FOM

7.5 - Long singleplayer compared to say GOW or R6:LV, but the graphics aren't great, a lot of the weapons are useless imo. AI wasn't brilliant. Good fun multiplayer. But most of all I miss the cover systems of R6 or GOW, which I think made the action much more realistic. Overall felt like a shooter from a few years back.

Motorstorm

8.5 - Looks great and is a lot of fun to play. Single player is pretty repetitive after a while, and it could do with a few different race types or even just some different environments. Multiplayer is a good laugh though.
 
Motorstorm - 7/10 initially but lately it is getting frustrating to the point I need to restrain myself from throwing the controller so 5/10

RFOM - 5/10 but this is more due to the fact I hate the controller for a FPS, If I could use the mouse and keyboard it would be much better.


To all the people that have Oblivion, is it really worth getting if I have played it on a good spec PC for 160 hours?

Good point :o I don't hate the controller though, it's just aiming with a 1st person shooter that I am too slow and Oblivion is 3rd person.

But I guess it is basically the same game as on the PC so I guess I will skip it.
 
To add to my list above i picked up VF5 this morning only reason i had a £40 credit note left over after taking back my dead 360, and after palying for 2 hours straight ill give it 6.5/10

Simple reason no online play as it so should have that. :(
 
Sega said they will never put online on VF5, maybe even the VF series, because the fighting system in that game is so precise there is just too much lag on the internet, least that is their story. Though if when you are doing the training, you can call up the timing on the moves and see how quick it registers, gives you it in ms iirc.
 
RFOM - 10/10. Love the game play, longevity, different mode, plenty weapons etc.

F1CE - 6/10. NIce graphic but find it boring and too much fiddling with settings. Never tried it online.

RR7 - 9/10. Excellent graphics if you have the right tv :D , Massive online gameplay, simple and mad driving style :cool:
 
seems everyone has motorstorm and RFOM lol, anyone got any different sort of games?

(i no people have mentioned some but would be nice to see more )

Hey Dutch Guy!

I played oblivion on my old pc which i dont have anymore in my sig, the PS3 runs it very well and if you like the game i would get it!

If you like fighting games that require a lot of skill, patience and timing then there are no better. The mechanics of the game are the best I have ever played with on a fighting game.
 
VF5 is the one game I don't have right now for the PS3 I'd like, I may pick it up soon as I love fighting games.
