Hmph, in abit of a stinking mood today so I am taking out my rage on my PC.

About a week ago I decided to go down the crossfire route, buying a second 5870. A few days on and I am left feeling rather let down and am asking myself the question, is it worth selling the pair and investing in a single 480.

I really cant be bothered with crossfire bugs, crappy drivers and sometimes lower FPS in some cases that if I had one card. I am sure there are many people asking themselves the same question but what do you guys think I should do ?

Lmao..

Some people just dont know how to own a Crossfire setup :!
if they knew how to trouble shoot issues there would be none of this " 5870 2 is crap 480GTX is better" crap.

If one 5870 is less than a week old, DSR?

DSR ? sorry ?

Both going on eBay as we speak.

Lmao .........

in all fairness, all I want to do is play a game. I don't want to spend 15 mins trouble shooting issues before hand.

Thanks for the advice though.

Distance selling regulations - as in you can send back anything within 7 days.

If all you want to do is play a game then why not just keep on 5870 card?

People who need more than a single 5870 or 480 are unhealthily geeky! What game that's worth the cost of crossfire struggles with either of these cards?

Send the new one back under DSR and just keep your older 5870 and enjoy the games ;)
