Rating threads

Hi,

I was just browsing the archive and noticed Tru's "The lost art of thread rating" thread.

I then read Roughneck's poor joke and immediately rated it a single star. How many members does it take to make the rating appear? I think it should be immediate i.e a single star appears as soon as a member rates a thread. That way we can clearly see the good, the bad and the funny.

Serious request here. It will definitely encourage thread rating as right now members can't be bothered as they're thinking the same thing as everyone else - it won't make a difference unless everyone else votes and so the thread rating feature is rather lonely.
