Ravers! - Where to mash it up next month?

Thanks for the utterly constructive post mate :D Don't get me wrong, whilst I'm thoroughly tickled by your post, I take it you don't go clubbing. Ever.

Mainly into the drum&bass scene, but there's a variety of tastes going. Preferably some HardHouse, Trance e.t.c

I've not done Fabric, but I've heard it's a bit of a dive. I'll googlage some Turnmills.

Tefal, whilst your idea sounds lovely, I'd like to be surrounded by new people :)

Oh, and yes, I am a robot :D

Ant

Fabric a dive?!?!

LOL, it's one of the best clubs in London, especially if you are into breaks (which I love) or DnB (which I hate).

For trance and tech-trance yumminess, Peach @ Heaven is a top, top night.

Here are some videos I took at some of them over the year:

For harder trance and hard-house, perhaps Knowwhere @ Heaven would be good?

Basically, any proper club event at Heaven rocks, as it is a great venue :D

aside

You bumped that exactly 24 hours to the minute after writing it! Did you use an alarm clock or something?!

If you like your Trance/ hard house try getting to Turnmills for the 21st of Sept cause they've got Ferry Corsten and Eddie Haliwell, should be a damn good night but might be a little rammed

I'd avoid Turnmills if possible, hate the venue so much, which is a shame as they have some decent line-ups.

21st will see me celebrating my 25th at Peach's 14th Bday :D

Not really a fan of the headliners (I HATE Anthem), but the classics room is always great, plus there is a new talent showcase room as well :)

I take it its more a hard dance/hardcore event? I'll hopefully be in Amsterdam that weekend for my 21sT! could make for an awesome birthday!!

Not sure, its a q-dance event which are normally pretty hard. Looking at going next year.

KaHn

Filo & Peri, send 'em back tbh! :p Quality line-up otherwise.

What's wrong with Turnmills?

Main dancefloor is too small, too crowded, and with too much traffic.

Lighting/lasers are very meh.

Too much sound bleed between main floor and one behind it.

Hmm, the ceiling is too low, the dance floors too narrow and long, it all feels a bit 'warrany'.

Plus, the last time I went, it was full of people shouting 'Woo-woo!' - we left early....

Fairy nuff. I've never been but been scouting out the London clubs since I'm off to uni there in a week. Good to know there are plenty of awesome alternatives nearby, not been to a good trance night in ages.

Trust me, Heaven is the best venue for trance in London, decor, lighting, size, location, sound system, all tops :D

well i havent been "proper" drugged up clubbing since 2001 but passion at coalville was the best club i went to

went every week for about a year

it was better than cream@union

golden in stoke was also an absolute favorite as it rocked and was local

saw roger sanchez there and the roof nearly blew off, best single night ive ever been to but its long gone now :(

fabric is a great club ended up in there dead drunk one sunday night a few years ago

wall to wall with gays, but great music reminded me of trade back in the day (im not gay by the way ;) )

also went to a D&B night at herbal in shorditch

nice in there proper messy, i was very drunk watching grooverider dj and realised i needed a wee turned round and tryed to move across dance floor to the toilet, but it was that packed, i couldnt make it so i just pee'd myself in middle of dance floor, they soon moved out the way but it was to late then :p so i staggered round covered in p*** for a couple of hours

This story made me laugh. Lots :D

Looks like the original option of Passion is on the cards then. Never been, so I'm going to take a look at the webby.

Cheers,
Ant

It's a month later than you're looking for - but Infected Mushroom are playing @ London Coronet at the end of November...

I'll be finding out if I'll be going from next week woo :D

All depends if my army training is likey to start then, if not, then I'll be there :D
