Bought this game today, its still in early access on steam and unfinished so still plenty to look forward to.

However this is by far the most intense game available for the Vive.

Playing it on a gtc 970 its playable on low settings only, so I now need to upgrade to a new card, but its still very playable. Would love to see what its like on the highest settings.
They are recommending a 980ti for it.

The game gets intense the further you go in the level, to the point I yanked my headset cord out due to ducking and weaving intently trying to avoid the incoming fire, I need to reposition my pc to get more length for the cord.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED GAME even in its early stages and one that shows you VR gaming is going to add a lot to your entertainment.

For those thinking about selling their vives, try this first then decide. You can always refund on steam if you don't like it.

But it's another wave shooter with a little added movement :(

Puts me right off (rightly or wrongly)

I very much doubt we are going to see Call of Duty or Battlefield as they play now in VR.

This play very well, the movement is very well done. As far as wave shooters go this is very good, frantic, and I have to say, I did shout a few times when I turned round to see a robot right next me.

You also need to duck and dodge incoming fire so this elevates this above other games IMO.

Try it and refund if you don't like it, just get to wave 5 on the first mission to see how frantic it gets, I yanked my cord out at this point.

wow what a game - best vive experience so far. able to run it at max settings with my 1080gtx and it looks bloody brilliant with the built in rendering set at 2. looks very low res at default but very very nice at max.

love the movement method and i could see such a movement setup working in a proper first person shooter.

Oh boy. This game is making me want to buy a 1070 more and more.

With the 970, at default settings it looked quite low rez. I've managed to bump up the in game resolution a little bit (maybe to like 1.3/4 or something) and altered a few settings to make it look nice and I don't 'seem' to be reprojecting.

But at max settings this looks so so much better. HMMMMM.

The 1070 is so expensive for me at the moment... second hand 980Ti? But then if those VR specific improvements come in... gah. My 970 is probably only worth about £160 at the moment.. so it will be a good 200+ on top.

VR is expensive haha.

Not really sure where I mentioned Call of duty or any fps for that matter :P

It's still a wave shooter, it might well be better than all the other wave games, but it still boils down to the same thing. And plenty of other wave games you have to duck and shoot, the two most famous being SPT and Holopoint, so it's really nothing new :D

Im more intrigued that it sounds like a 1080 is needed to play on max settings. I thought a 1070 would handle games like this on max settings.

Had a play on this tonight ..

Wow was good and OMG they was getting so close and at one point I was thinking I am dead .. next door must have been thinking what is going on as I am sure I ended up shouting out.

only thing was it need some space .. think my room space is 2.5 x 2.1 and at one point the thing I needed to grab was outside my area .. lucky I could still get it as it was over my sofa so outside play area but still open space

but was good game play
