Raw Edits

So I saw this

Essentially he's editing people's raw files in his style.

Would anyone be up for this at all? IE Post a raw or send directly to someone and then they post the result? (I understand this is a touchy subject for some people, and you don't have to use your best shots!)

Just thinking it could be a bit of fun?

He's a youtuber as far as I can see - a very enthusiastic one. Ijust liked the idea of seeing people's different approaches to edits

Will give this a go later, and upload one from my safari trip - glad this got some uptake.

Surprised at the choice of contrast levels in those edits! Of course it's preferential but it's interesting to see how others would produce the same image! I'll post my final of that shot tonight after work and have a go at the above

I still in a bit of a holding pattern phase about 'my style' though I do tend do for a slightly more punchy look.

I've read and watched people on YouTube go on about their presets and that beginners should buy theirs as it'll work wonders for the images. I'm guessing they are Lightroom Presets.

Anyway, I'm going to give this new file a try.

Right so this is what I settled on for the above:

I was half happy with my edit until I saw yours and side by side it shows that I have a strong green cast on my image affecting skin tones.

Interesting thread so far.
