Just got the 30D up and running, and I took some snaps at a party last night, and I'm trying to get them processed today. I'm using a MacBook Pro, but I use Windows XP via Parallels in order that I can still use Rawshooter Essentials.
So what I normally do is this:
1) In OS X I import the RAW files using the Canon software
2) Load Windows XP, use Rawshooter to process
However i've encountered two issues with the 30D. First of all I can't get the Canon software to see it in OSX, it says no camera found.. do I need different software than the stuff I used for the 350D?
Anyway, I managed to import the files in Windows XP, then loaded in Rawshooter. The weird thing is, the initial thumbnails looked fine, but once it started going along each one to do the big thumbnails they all went completely mad. And the photos now look like this:
Using iPhoto, the RAW files look 100% fine, so the files aren't corrupt, but for some reason Rawshooter chucks a fit. Any idea? Thanks
