I didn't like the first series of black adder either

enjoyed the rest though

as others have pointed out he is the perfect actor for the role and plays it very well. its one of the best series of the last few years . give it a try.

I used to look upon the main actor as a bawbag in the past (reminds me of my cousins best mate) but he has matured and good in this.

You are missing one of the best show on TV, unless you are one of the Reality/Scripted BS toilet TV crowd.

I like Liev and he does a great a job in Ray. This and The Strain should do nicely until the last seasons of Boardwalk and Sons (sad times

Just watched the first episode - the season 1 recap made me realise just how much of the first season I think I failed to understand. There seemed to be so many different little story lines going on I lost track a little. Still enjoying however!
