If memory serves me correctly, I saw the models he built for the Argonauts and CLOTT as a lad in the museum of moving image.
His complete collection is now owned by the National media museum in Bradford, and were on display as recently as April. Due to Ray's death, there's every chance they may reopen the exhibit for a while. Worth having a look if they do.
