Why is it so difficult to find a number for my local Royal mail post office? Ive tried to use their website and google and still cannot find a branch finder to get a number for headingley post office

thanks, but its the one in the arndale centre im looking for. (its actually bigger than the far headingley one)

sod it, its not in yellow pages either. I'll just ring the far headingley branch and get them to give me the number

Post Offices are ex directory, as people used to ring the PO asking where their mail is, why is the post man late etc.. when it is not the PO problem, hence they went exdirectory. If you have a problem you usually have to go in and see them.

strange, theres a list of about 70 in leeds in the yellow pages. I just cant find my local one :confused:

thanks but still no number for the arndale centre post office. I rang far headingey one and asked for a number and was told they dont have a direct number!

Some Post offices are Ex-directory and some aren't. Your better phoning the Post Office customer services/advice line number. I did have this number at one point but it's gone walk about.

I'll try and get it for you.

to see if they had a parcel for me. Instead I got the bus there, queued up for 20minutes then they chacked and didnt have my parcel. what a waste of time that was, especially when any usual business could be phones and asked first
