Posting a thread because you thought you may have seen a forum member just strikes me as being a bit odd. If you really wanted to speak to them and grab their attention then you would no doubt have approached them and introduced yourself.
If that wasn't an option or you missed the opportunity then surely you would send them a message via trust.
I don't see what will be achieved by creating a thread publicly. Maybe I have missed something?
