^ looking to replace my exactmat coz it wears the teflon feet & makes the 2000dpi pointless because if the friction. I want to get a new one asap & seeing as the destructor is more expensive slightly than the exact, does that mean its also better? for mouse tracking, prescision etc.

I'm using my old habu right now and the tracking and lift off distance is terrible, wouldn't recommend for a Habu.

I thought the general rule was; Laser = Cloth, Optical = Hard? Correct me if I'm wrong!

I've used laser on hard with no problems and I know several people with optical mice who swear by cloth mats, so I dont think it really matters that much to be honest. Aside from a few incompatibilities between certain mouse and mat combinations, you should be fine with pretty much anything that is designed for gaming, as different equipment variants have more than likely been taken into consideration during the design process.

seems that my friend bought one, used it for about 10 seconds but didnt like it & never sent it back. So i just gave him £20. Got to try it first as well. Much better than the exact, since the exact would be ok at first but wear away causing major lag in my movement.
