Damn the Razer website aint workin right :(

Can someone confirm that the diamondback range of mice have two buttons on each side (2 @ thumb & 2 @ little finger)

@Gaspode: So by using infrared it is more sensitive?

Thx for the replies by the way.

Yup, two buttons on each side and all are programmeable.

reason being buttons on both sides ....

Left hand and right handed mouse :)

but still ... mx518 > G5

3 people i know prefere the mx518 over the G5 + G5 i hear brakes easier...

i have the diamondback cam.

Absolutley love it now, i have it matched with the Qpad, was so hard to get used to as it is such, and i mean SUCH, a smooth combination!!

id probabally reccomend the Razer with a precise pad rather than speed, due to it having the teflon feet!!

Ive had my G5 for a fair while now, and never had any problems with it. Its definetly better than my old MX510. I dont see it breaking any time soon.

no probs matey - I can confirm 2 sets of 2 side buttons on left n right

I don't think the infra red performs any better than the usual one on the chamel or magma but it is nice not to be dazzled by bright light when giving the base a clean.

Lol! now i knew there was something different about my mouse, didnt think of the lack of red lightage

Anyone else got a diamondback that finds the righthand side buttons a little pointless? No way is my little finger ever going to be adept at using them! Ones by my thumb are useful tho!

I have disabled my right side buttons cause I found I was pressing inadvertently during gaming.

Good choice with the diamondback, its my prefered mouse, the copperhead has better button placement but i found it buggy in Q4, when it works it was sweet, the diamondback/copperhead is a mouse suited to low and high sense players, generally the logitechs only suite high sense players as quick hand movements associated with being a low sense player are far harder than with the lighter nimbler diamondback although not impossible and it can certainly be done, i did for a number or months, at the end of the day its down to personal preference, but im very glad i moved from logitech to Razer mice.

I did try the Copperhead but found it didn't suit me - the s/w was also bad at the time.
I just didn't like the shape of it at all - more domed but I prefer a flatter mouse.

if the c/h had been around when I changed from my m/s int exp v3 then I would have probably have loved it.
