I currently have the Razer Diamondback and find it very good to use but started to make my hand ache after a few hours gaming so was wondering would the Deathadder be a worthy upgrade seeing as it's designed for Right Hand use rather than the ambidextrous use of the Diamondback.

also it has a higher dpi so would be better for gaming but just wanted views on those that have one etc

deathadder is the best gaming mouse in my opinion i love it feels perfect in my hand and is easily customizable in the sensitivity menu's havent found a fault with it yet

The change will make minimal impact on the ache you get, look for a more ergonomic solution. Ive tried and tested almost every Logitech/Razer mouse out there, and after deciding i liked the Roccat Kone over all of them ive never looked back. Ive played a full 12hours of games with it and not even a slight tingle of cramp, unlike my old G9 which hurt my hand after an hour at best of use.

just reading about the tcu on the Roccat. How does this perform?

Does it get in the way with movement of the mouse or does it aid accuracy etc?

Looking at a description some have said it can hinder the movement of the mouse. Or is it better for determining the mouse pad you're using and by making it more accurate?!

Personally i find it very good, you use the software to configure the unit to the surface your using (Roccat Sota, i brought it with the mouse) and your good to go. It just stops any movement from the mouse when its not on the mat, ive seen my kill to death ratio go up drastically on CSS.

Plus it does look pretty :p

:EDIT: Btw its around the same size as the Logitech G5. A tad bigger than the Deathadder.

the deathadder is a very good mouse so far, (i have only had it since christmas). i have the 2 side buttons set for the dpi, the top one is to go to 3500 dpi and to bottom is for 1800 dpi. i would recommend it!

I had a roccat kone and could not get use to it. I had a razer diamondback 3G before that which i really liked and the gave it to my brother so i could try out a roccat kone. I then bought a razer deathadder and its perfect.

I got a deathadder, some days i game for stupid amounts of time and never have hand ache in the slightest. Absolutely love it with the on-the-fly sensitivty changing etc.
