Razer Lycosa Gaming Keyboard for Pre-Order!

I'm sure I remember ocuk saying at some point recently they were the cheapest for Razer products as well. This doesn't seem to be the case with the Lycosa, I guess I'm not allowed to mention the other places but I'm not talking dodgy stores I've never heard of. Seen it at least a tenner cheaper.

have to say i personally like the look of it, plus it'll fit on me desk :)

but £70 is a bit pricey, especially when when it's US layout, that would just nark me off summit cronic :(

i'd 2nd the "when's the UK version turning up"???

On a serious note though, When I bought my current setup a year ago I got it from OcUK it was because they were by far the cheapest. It seems now they are slipping further and further up the price range. Almost every other 'Shall I buy this...' thread has a 'Yes, but you can get it cheaper elsewhere' answer, which surly cant be good for business?

Sorry for the noob question but what does a UK layout look like lol?

various reported issues with this keyboard's inability to repeat a key several times when depressed over at the razerblueprint website, something to do with the lycosa only repeating a value once, instead of multiple times like most keyboards. For example, when holding down shift in an FPS to sprint, it will sprint for maybe a few seconds, then stop. Definetly needs a firmware update before i will consider buying. Also just by googling I have found at least 3 competitive and reliable sites that offer this keyboard at a much cheaper price than overclockers :(

Would be good to hear from anyone that has ordered one on this issue once they've tested it.

I'd also love to hear news of when the UK one will be available.

I was anticipating this release simply because it would match my setup, however 76 quid for a keyboard is absurd. Of course there will be people who buy it but I think I'll be sticking to my Logitech Ultra-X for a while longer :)

No more talk about pricing in this thread please, buy it or don't buy it it's a free world ;)

Umm, okay but to be fair....

Hi there
OcUK will not be beaten, we have the lowest pricing in the UK on all Razer gaming products:-

But sorry I'll shut up anyway now, as until they release the uk version doesn't matter to me. Probably just get something else now. To be fair I think most people are unhappy about the price Razer are charging rather than OCUK.
