Razer Mice

Thats really interesting. I do use my mouse on a low sensitivity with no acceleration at the moment (as it reduces the accuracy and smoothness on this cheap logi mouse), so perhaps the deathadder is better suited. I think I might go that way now.

Best surface with the deathadder?

i would go for a deathadder on your budget
i have the lachesis and its just brilliant

using it on an everglide surface - inexpensive and good quality

copperhead is crap compared to diamondback (which it replaced ?), death adder is better, and lachensis is better still

I have a DeathAdder and an eXactMat. Best combination :)

The best bet as always with all these what mouse threads. Try find a shop that stocks them and have a play about with em yourself to test what you feel is most comfortable.

I'm using the Razor boomslang atm. I know that not everyone likes this mouse. But for me personally its one of the best mice i have ever owned

Best surface with the deathadder?

Depends what you prefer. Most professional players prefer cloth for the extra resistance and consistency of accuracy.

If you want a cloth pad then you cant beat the titan, mantis speed, fnatic. If you want a hard pad with good control then the destructor by razer is awesome.

Think i'll try the boogie bug pad, as the large size appeals to me, and it's cheap enough so I can justify replacing it if it's no good.

Thanks for your help!

Bought the Deathadder and boogie bug surface, and have to say they work fantastically together. The mouse is better than I expected and I can see a large improvement in my FPS skills, great!

Recommend the Deathadder and Boogie Bug aimpad to anyone.

One little bit of help.

No matter what Razer mouse you get, they are all top notch and build quality. People will recommend different mice from their own personal experience, preference etc.

Try a few mice before you buy if you can. I have a copperhead, bought it without trying, and got used to it within a day. Would never buy from another manufacturer when it comes to mice :)

Just bought myself a Diamondback 3g today, replacing my trusty Logitech Mouseman Dual that i have owned for about 5 years!

Seems very nice after the little use i have had so far. Coupled with a Everglide Titan mat.
