RB6 Vegas - Multiplayer Demo Now Up!

I missed the single player demo when it was released and just played that. WOW i loved the origional RB6 games but never really got into the ghost recons as much. Downloading the MP demo now

This won't work for me. Opening it presents me with a black screen and crashes my xbox... tried downloading twice now, same thing. Everything else seems to be working fine.. any tips?

We'll have to get a game going sometime over the weekend. Though, I think everyone's preoccupied with Gears.

Will be up for trying this with you guys, haven't played it yet.

had a good bash with some quality players, pretty easy to win if you can defend the roof

Had a few rounds on the coop terrorist hunt last night with a few friends (4 max in one game) and damn was it fun and ruddy difficult too. (this is where you have 4 of your and you have to kill all 50 terrorists in the map).

One thing I have noticed about this demo is the distint lack of jaggies anywhere. It looks like full 4xAA is running and there is zero slowdown. I wonder if the single player demo originally released was running on older code?!

I think this has more longevity in terms of MP than GoW so high hopes.

Not another game to buy though I've gone from having 3 360 games for about 2 months, to having 7 in the space of 2 weeks! MM action imminent tbh

I think I heard the same thing. In the match I was in at the time (14 of us) not one of us agreed. The graphics in the demo are excellent and very realistic.

Its more subtle than GOW but still fantastic.

I was talking to someone on live about this, and he said this was the demo played at E3 as the door cam hadn't been introduced yet, so this is older code than the single player demo and less polished...So that could also be why people were saying the gfx are not as good as GoW

This demo has the snake cam feature?!?

I just watched the IGN video review and this game looks fantastic, but the video showing the Multiplayer had REALLY toned down graphics. Is this really what it is like? It looked really poor graphically in MP mode. Or is the final version full SP graphics in MP?

Aye graphics look a bit pants to be honest although that's not what it's all about.

Don't really like the map on the MP really or the feel of the weapons. May be giving this one a miss

Yup well on the attack and defend mode it does. Look at the base of the door and it comes up with 'snake cam'.

On the coop terrorist hunt it won't let you do it which is a tad annoying but the terrorists tend to open the door before you get to it anyway.

EDIT: Also I had a good few games last night with the difficulty set to realistic and initially it doesn't feel any more difficult, however I did notice that the cross - hair no longer goes red when you are highlighting and enemy and more importantly the enemies seem to come looking for you and act much more like a squad.

Its still relatively easy with 4 players (the max for the round) but with only 2 its very difficult indeed.

If thats the same video i saw, i think IGN upped the gamma or brightness so high it washes out the lighting and colours so it looks terrible in the video. I doubt itll look like that ingame. Look at the gun, the MP5 should be black, but it looks grey in the video.

Switching from other fps like COD2, then back to this, RB6 controls feels very slow and sluggish. Just feels like running through treacle. Graphics are okay, although nothing ground breaking. Also wondering about the amount of variety the game can offer longterm.

I will have to disagree on the controls feeling sluggish point. For me they are just right. Remember as well that this isn't a run and gun game. Its all about being tactical and taking your time. (believe me running and gunning on this game is fatal ).

The long term appeal of this game can be found in the multiplayer segments. However it must be a game you enjoy from the offset for you to actually want to continue playing for the longterm.

Unfortunately not... I asked here and elsewhere but no one replied. I have downlaoded other demos since with no problems it's a shame since I won't buy this game without first trying the MP demo.
