A mate just sent me these vids they made, a couple of them are really good but some of it just looks like larking about...

I was just getting into RC drifting then my nitro RC car decided it didn't want to run properly. Frustration overturned my patience and I haven't touched it since :o

Might give it another punt with electric which is more suited to drifting anyway. Plus I can mess about in the village without sounding like a swarm of angry wasps riding mopeds.

I've tried that with my RC car, but a combination of the throttle sticking open until I fully close it, my severely worn clutch, and my complete lack of talent does me in. And I can't get it to rev up quickly, I think it's the crude fuel pump and the crude carb.

And I think they do away with the diff.

Electric im sure is better, you have more control of the throttle. And i did mine by wrapping Electrical insulation tape around the tire. (several layers of it)

thats what you get with electric cars+ electrical insulation tape..

You can get fuel injected aero glow motors, with a wee ECU. When that technology filters down to the cars that may change.
