hmmm something that bugs me about these little things...the PicoZ/PicooZ, seems to be the one to get, but from what i gather, you have up and down, and left and right...no control of forwards and backwards....kinda naff aint it?

And....what PiccoZ is the right one...there are a fair few of them with a similar name...

a bit of research later, Silverlit seems to be the original and real one, rest are fakes.

my dad had a little indoor one but it soon broke

theres a small air show at east fortune museum of flight now and again theres always guys with model planes and helicopters doing small displays in between the main air show events.

the stuff they do with expensive helicopter models is amazing they swoop down and nearly hit the ground then flip over upside down less than a meter from it then they start flying about upside down with their 600-900£ models almost scraping the ground at high speeds

Just ordered a Pico Z off the web. My uncle got one for Xmas and we used the thing all of Xmas day was a great laugh. I just had to get my very own. Should be here before the weekend. Can't wait.

I have a PicoZ but it seems to be broken now. After a charge it just doesn't work

I would like a cheap indoor chopper that you can control forwards and backwards though (are they called 6 channel?)

Any recommendations?

Got a Thunder Tiger Raptor 60 with a few upgrades.

Awesome machine! Not flown for a while though - lack of time.

The thing I do remember are the repair costs...one nanosecond of brainfade cost £200 in parts alone

The bigger ones do command a fair amount of 'respect' - Think of a flying chainsaw....

Nah, I have a quadrotor though:

I got a free PicooZ and was having great fun teasing our kitten with it for a few days, she would whack it out of the air etc. The other morning I came downstairs to find a helicopter with a completely chewed up tail, so she must have found it.

I have a Micro Mosquito from the Blade runner series, a PiccoZ which doesn't work at the moment and an outside one which was given to me, not sure what it's called but its pretty awesome

The Mosquito is by far the best for indoor!
