Hi,
Not entirely sure if this is best here or in the Windows thread.
In short, I sometimes need to Remote Desktop back to my desk-based PC, from a PC no more than 15-20 feet away, but in a different room.
When I do so, there's a good chance (80% or so) that my PC will reboot itself, no warnings, no errors, all you here is *beep* as it checks the BIOS on boot.
The likelihood of this happening is lower, if the host PC hasn't been switched on for very long, but if the host PC has been on over 24 hours, it's much more likely to happen.
Now, I've checked the event log on the host PC and can't see any event of the crash, just logs of things starting back up at the time after its' rebooted.
The great Google only suggests updating my nVidia graphics driver, but as this PC has onboard Intel graphics, I doubt that'll help
Anyone ever seen this happen before, or can suggest any thoughts on how to fix it or where I should be looking?
