Hi all,

impulse buy by my MD last week saw me scoot off and grab 2 x ipads at £699.00 each.

He downloaded a paid for app for RDP connection, but it's no good due to its lack of mouse ability, ie. can't scroll in Outlook (on the server session) etc.
I've heard WinAdmin is pretty good, but can anyone confirm this or any other paid for apps. I doubt any free ones will do what we want.
There's also Desktop Connect too.

Can't for the life of me remember what they're using right now, but it's not very user friendly once you've logged into your server session.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks :)

iTap RDP.

Works great on the iPhone and appears to be iPad updated.

Ahaa....that's the one we use already (couldn't remember the name).
But as i mentioned when trying to view outlook in an RDP session, you cannot scroll and its such a pain to do the alterntive mouse use thingy.

Don't the two fingers scroll work?

Jaadu RDP probably isn't updated for iPad yet, but it does definitely support finger scrolling..

You can also try VNC Servers if you want...

Works fine on my iPhone, can't see why it wouldn't work on the iPad.

My guess is user error. Are you using the right gestures?

Lol, you obviously know my boss....:p....yes it is/was user error. He didn't bother to look at the gestures tut when you first log in....so he didn't know how to do what he actually wanted to do.
He has since been schooled in the art of reading the flipping instructions.

Thanks for your input fellas. :)
