I'm having a connection problem with Red Dead Redemption on the PS3 and my wireless router but I think my router is to blame here.
Basically if I connect to a lot of people I get kicked from the Free Roam with this message:
ALERT
You were removed from your sessions and returned to Free Roam due to connection issues with other players.
Now, i've Googled this and it seems like an old problem that has been fixed by Rockstar last year. SO I go to re-configure my wireless settings again and do the 'Test Connection at the end, it gets to NAT type wich is NAT 2 then won't go through the speed test and I get this message scrolling at the bottom of the screen:
The router in use may not support IP fragments, and the communication features of some games may be restricted. For details, contact the router manufacturer.
So i've Googled this too and get a couple of guides telling me to change the MTU settings, disable the built in firewall and open ports which i've done but still nothing. The router I have is this one:
Belkin F5D8633UK4A 300Mbps Wireless N ADSL2+ Modem/Router
Tried searching for this on Belkin's homepage but even they don't seem to have support for it and I only bought it about 3 months ago from OcUK.
I'm going for the Platinum Trophy and need 'Possy Up' but this issue is preventing me getting it.
