Re-build, What is the correct order for installing drivers?

It's actually quite a while since I did a full re-install of my PC and I was wondering what the correct order was for installing drivers so that it is a good base for installing the rest of my stuff!

My thoughts would be:

Windows XP Home +sp1 inbuilt on the MS disc.
Service pack 2
DirectX
Motherboard Drivers
Graphics Card Drivers
Sound card drivers

Windows Updates

Applications
