What rechargable AA's do people recommend, I have some generic ones from a highstreet photography store that are pretty naff.

all seem to be a bit naff tbh - ive reverted back to duracell ultras for fast recharge time - if anybody knows of some good rechargables that hold their charge and also have quick recharge times let me know !

I used to use Hahnel, but they are actually slightly fatter than standard AAs and the battery case I had wouldn't take them. Plus they drained like crazy.

I now use Energiser 2500mAh and Duracell 2650 mAh AA rechargeables.

The Duracells seem to last forever in my Canon camera (takes 2)! Better than the Energizers! I charge them all in an Energizer 1hour battery charger, which has individual charging for each cell - so you can mix empty and partially charged batteries.

I have the Enigizer 15minute recharge ones I think, got 2 lots of the batteries, Charge in 15 minutes hold their time well, can also plug it into the car to charge :)

Nice and Easy.

I use Uniross Hybrio's at the moment, have used Sanyo Eneloop in the past which were slightly better but cost a little more and are not as easy to get your hands on :)

I recommend the eneloops. Vapextech are also meant to be good, as they use the same hybrid technology, this type of battery discharges much less then standard rechargeables wehn not in use.

i use uniross to and they are very good. can vouch for vapextech battries to, i've not used their AA batterys befor, but have used lots of sub c celled packs and they have always be very good.

with rechargable batteries i recomend getting as nigh a mAH as possible, they will retain a higher voltage for longer and last longer to.

this site has some 2700mAH http://www.pentupenergy.co.uk/category/batteries/aa/rechargeable/

7dayshop batteries work well for me but they seem to have died but given the age of them and the usage they have had, plus how cheap they are I can't complain plus they have 2800mah ones which last ages.
