Re grouting tiles or these 'White' pens?

This is some thread resurrection.
First posted in 2011, and then revived with what must be one of the oddest choices for a first post :)

That's because he's a spammer.

I moderate another forum and after a while you can smell them :)
Even from just his account name I can tell.

Sometimes the mods don't delete them for some reason. Reported anyway.

For tiles and the grout, try beach and a old toothbrush, then some elbow grease.

This! I used flash with bleach spray on a stiff toothbrush and the grouting looked like new after 20 mins. Then just keep on top of it by doing it once a month or something.

Next time you do any grouting use something decent like BAL with microban. Seems to be doing a great job of staying white in my kitchen.

+1 for the bleach thing but mix neat clear bleach with some whitening toothpaste to form a bleachy paste, brush all over grouting, leave for a while then rinse / wipe down.

Yep, I just use thick bleach, slap it on with a paintbrush, then rinse off the next day. Might take a couple of goes to get it "new grout" white, but it does work.

I use a mix of white wine vinegar, bleach and bicarbonate soda and mix it into a paste, then use an old toothbrush to rub the grouting. Works like a charm!
