re-installing windows tonight, SP1 question

is there anyway to get this on with the fresh install tonight or will i have to install win 7 then update from the OS when it's done

You can get the SP1 from the link below, and burn it to disc, then apply after you have installed Win 7.

which one out of the 7 files do i need?

64-bit: windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe
32-bit: windows6.1-KB976932-X86.exe

I think the top, biggest one is both in one package which can put on a DVD.

best way is to get the official integrated images that are available to technet/msdn subscribers, altho obviously thats 3gb rather than 900mb, but its a much cleaner way of installing it and having the integrated versions can be handy, i would assume its legal to "aquire" them if you already own windows 7 but i may be wrong
