Re-installing Xp Pro, problem

Just finished doing a fresh install off pro, I brought a 500HDD last week and back-up mostly music on it. Now ive booted into win, the 500GB HDD is showing unformatted

The only thing I done was re-partition my other HDD, and left the 500

Try booting from the Ultimate Boot CD and checking if the files are visible, if so copy them accross, if not you may need to try something like rstudio, but it isnt free.

Installing SP1 and all is fine.

Strange I thought you needed SP2
