Alrite.

i need to Re learn how to type.
i have a lot of bad habbits when i type - example:

"im tryign to think of soem examples liek"
^^ ^^ ^^

is there any programs reccomended for learnign how to type. i dont use the F&J method. but i suppose i should learn to with the help of some software that is.
im about to go into some work which required a lot of typing and no mistakes liekt eh above.

please help !

all things i have highlighted in bold were genuine mistakes when i typed this out.
 
Honestly just practice practice and practice. Go as slow as you need to at first after learning a proper technique - and then as you type more and more you'll get quicker.
 
Firefox 2 has a built in spell checker, that might help with rectifying and relearning how you type?
 
ive been typing for years and years. ive had a PC and a Qwerty keyboard for a VERY long time.
it really is just bad habbit. and i dont believe im that much of a fast typer.

im also dyslexic. but i dont think thats got anythign to do with it.

i may try and slow down a little though.
 
Get a keyboard thats split in the middle like the Microsoft Natural. They make you more efficient because you will stop reaching across for certain keys and will use both hands all the time. They also make you less likely to hit the wrong buttons because you have a better reference point when using two hands. Before starting typing as well put your 2 index fingers on the raised bits on F and J - makes it easier to guess where the other buttons are from there.
