Re-mapping a 206

for the effort involved, why not just get a 306 gti6 and have something that revs past 4 grand

For the cost of an FMIC? can be done for around 150 if you know what your doing, parts included. Clutch would be a far bit more around 450 i believe, As said before itll be just 5-10bhp off the GTI6 but retains the MPG and has better torque.

ill take your word for it, but imagine putting that much effort into a gti6...

if you really want a derv in your life, get a fabia, something that will actually map straight to 180-190 and break-your-neck torque

Still a six with what 25mpg hooning it? not interested in fabia although not a die hard 306 fan ive had 2 now, and im looking into a civic/gti6/integra next but that wont be for a few years, so may try add a little poke maybe the smaller remap and just be done with it.

25mpg on a hoon is good going, besides, hoon is only about 5% of driving for most people.

if you care about mpg and torque. dont get an integra

Not really a derv 306 with sameish bhp wont go lower than 40 no matter what you do to it, i dont care about mpg and torque but i do for the next year or so im at uni.

very very wrong im afraid. A friend of mine (STOCKPORTHDI) is running the 150 map and with town driving and a little bit of hooning is lucky to see over 35mpg
