Hi

Is there any software that would repartition Server 2000/2003 without loosing any data.

I suppose it would be easier to ask if there is a program like parition magic that works on servers.

Cheers

Why wouldn't partition magic work?

The server 2003 archetecture isn't too different from XP in terms of software.

I think acronis do one too, just make sure the drive/partition is defragmented first and there are no fragments in the area to be changed

Partition Magic 8 comes up with an error stating it will not run on windows NT/2003/.Net server.

You get this message whether you try to install it or boot from the CD.

Looks like I have found one:

Paragon Partition Manager 9.0 Server

The technician licence looks like the correct licence...

Anyone have any experiance of this product.

partition magic is a joke anyway, trashes most systems!

i'd make a full backup of it all, then use gparted live boot cd to edit them

Well i've never had it trash a system, did use gparted on a 1TB samsung other day from Arch, worked well, nice and quick :D

Supports most filesystems too
