Hi guys,
Recently after encountering bad fps in Planetside 2 I looked at my GPU-Z info (whilst in game) and found that the card will be brought down to its GPU idle clock. Obviously at 500mhz the game runs poorly.
At first I thought it was due to over locking using afterburner, so tried trixx, no change, so I closed those progs and used overdrive. At first this worked fine and as I only oc my 7950 to 1100/1500 is was fine. Game runs brilliant.
I come back to playing it last night and regardless what I do the game runs the card at idle GPU clock. The memory stays at what I set it.
The only way I can get the game to run well is to return to the default clock settings in ccc.
This is frustrating because it runs better at 1100/1500 that the stock 850/1250.
Is this just a ps2 problem? Or is there anything I can do such as with custom profile for the game or whatever? Any info hugely appreciated.
If this is more related to ps2 then mods feel free to transfer post please! Ta
Thanks
