Is it best to use a new water cooler on a new build or is it possible to re use an existing one? Is it just a case of removing it from the old build and cleaning the old thermal paste and re applying it on the new processor? Just a random thought for when I do make the leap of faith and do my own build!!!

You can re-use a water cooling block as many times as you want as you say clean the thermal compound off also might be worth opening the block and giving that a clean. Good luck

Great. Thought I would check. Going to wait a little while before I upgrade again. Just getting back into PC gaming the last year or so. Just need the guts to start building a PC. I occasionally take some of the fans out of the case and clean it, that's as far as I have dared myself haha!

It's like a very easy puzzle, just with expensive bits! Do your research and ask any questions on here bud and it's a breeze.
